s10 Radiator mod

Here are a few images of the radiator modifications I did for the V8 swap

This is a look at the AC condenser with the radiator off.

I decided to move the "Corvette" radiator inside the core support to give me as much room as possible.  This was a pretty easy modification that took about 45 minutes.  I started by cutting the upper lip so the placement of the radiator could be as far forward as possible.

After a few placement "tests" I was able to determine where I needed to make the cut so the filler neck would fit.

Here is another angle to give you a better idea of how far forward the radiator was placed.

After making a few brackets to hold the radiator this is what it looks like from the front.

I decided that I will plan on using my AC again since I live down in Florida... This modification gets a bit troublesome... Since I decided that I would use "hood pins" it make it a bit easier.  I removed the hood latch and oil cooler lines and mounted the AC condenser in it's place.  You can also do this with the hood latch but would have to modify it at the lower bottom to give you room to slide the condenser in.

This is what it looks like once I was done.  All I have to do is clean everything up prior to installation.
